Les Assises Nationales du Niger continuent d’avancer et, le 16 février 2025, le Président de la Commission a reçu les délégations du Burkina Faso et du Mali. Cette rencontre s’inscrit dans un cadre de coopération renforcée au sein de l’Alliance des États du Sahel (AES), où les experts des deux pays seront intégrés dans les différentes commissions pour favoriser un échange d’expériences.
Le Ministre d’État chargé de l’Administration territoriale, Émile Zerbo, a souligné que cette initiative représente un acte de solidarité et de fraternité entre les trois nations. Ce geste témoigne de l’importance d’une coopération régionale étroite dans le cadre de la refondation du Niger et la mise en place de solutions durables pour l’avenir du Sahel.
Pour le comité indépendant chargé de la mise en œuvre des recommandations des Assises, cette étape marque un moment clé dans le processus de création d’un nouvel espace commun, fruit de l’implication des trois États membres de l’AES.
Cette collaboration est un signe fort de la volonté partagée de renforcer les liens régionaux et de construire un avenir meilleur pour la région du Sahel.
